Meet 4-year-old Adrian! Adrian is a kind-hearted, curious and determined young boy who is diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy. Muscular Dystrophy consists of a group of 30 genetic disorders characterized by progressive muscle weakness and loss of muscle mass.
Adrian has a strong vocabulary and his favorite color is the entire rainbow! He likes the movie Zootopia or anything related to the Super Mario Galaxy series. Recently, he has enjoyed the books Peter Rabbit and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom during story time. During dinner time he likes to eat fish or a supreme style pizza.
Adrian depends on a wheelchair to get around every day. He now needs an adaptive tricycle so he can gain support in his muscles. This will also help his range of motion and enhance his cardiovascular fitness!
