Meet Ahmir!
Meet Amazing Ahmir! This happy two-year-old was diagnosed with hydrocephalus in the womb when mom was only 14 weeks pregnant. Ahmir is a twin and they knew he would be born with complications. He has had two VP shunts inserted due to fluid on his brain. While he can scoot around, he is unable to crawl or walk.
Ahmir enjoys watching SpongeBob and Lilo and Stitch. He likes listening to the soothing sounds of lullabies. Ahmir enjoys playing in ball pits and going to indoor playgrounds. Tummy time and playing with toys that rattle or make noise are among his favorites!
Ahmir needs a medical stroller. He has grown out of his infant stroller and needs more support and requires the safety features of a Leggero Reach to help with his positioning needs.
