Meet 21-year-old Alexandra! Alexandra was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and cannot walk—but that hasn’t stopped her from being a spunky, spirited young lady.

She is very active and loves to dance, often moving to the rhythm of her favorite Disney soundtracks. Alexandra also competes in the Special Olympics, where her competitive drive shines, though her main goal is always to have fun. She’s a big football fan who proudly cheers on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and she enjoys building and collecting Lego sets in her free time.

Alexandra reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids asking for our assistance in getting a lightweight power wheelchair—one that would provide her with the safety, comfort, and support she deserves, while making it easier for her family to transport her. Thanks to the generous support of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Palm Harbor and the Broadrick Family Foundation, this extraordinary young lady now has the perfect chair to enhance her independence and continue living life to the fullest.
