Meet Aleyah!
Meet 11-year-old Aleyah! Aleyah is a beautiful, feisty young girl who loves music with an upbeat tempo and brings determination to everything she does. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of three, Aleyah continues to face challenges with resilience and a strong will.
Aleyah’s favorite color is pink, and she loves watching Trolls, happily singing along to the soundtrack. Her favorite song is This Is What You Came For by Rihanna. When she’s not enjoying music, Aleyah loves visiting Disney, swimming in the pool, and indulging in sweet treats.
Aleyah has received her new medical stroller thanks to the generous support of the Gerner Family Charitable Foundation and the Harper Family Charitable Foundation. Her previous wheelchair was difficult for her family to transport due to its size and weight. This new stroller provides the tilt-in-space feature and postural support she needs for safety and comfort while making medical appointments and everyday outings easier. This gift has given Aleyah and her family greater mobility, convenience, and more opportunities to enjoy time together in the community.
