Meet Aliah! Aliah is such a bright, beautiful, and kind 7-year-old girl. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth, but her determination has never let her CP steal her smile! Aliah faces daily challenges with mobility and keeping up with her twin sister. She uses a walker to get around and has difficulty with balance. Even with these struggles, and recently undergoing major surgery, she continues to be the happiest little girl, sharing her smile with the world.
Aliah is the most loving girl and never stops giving out hugs to those around her. Her favorite things to do are to go on family bike rides, dance and listen to music with her mom and sister, and cheer on the Yankees with her dad. She absolutely adores anything Mario related and hopes to celebrate her birthday at the new Mario Brothers theme park. When Aliah is at home and wants to relax, she loves spending time with their family dog, Luna, and watching The Grinch before bed.
Aliah is in need of an adaptive therapy bike to help improve her strength and balance, and to give her more independence. Most of all, it will allow her to join in on family bike rides and start keeping up with her sister. We’re hoping to get this special bike for Aliah so she can keep growing, having fun, and enjoying new adventures.
