Meet 2-year-old Alisson — a bright light with an unstoppable spirit.
Diagnosed at birth with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, Alisson faces daily challenges including clubfeet, low muscle tone, and poor balance. She is currently unable to walk, but that hasn’t stopped her from being joyful, curious, and full of life.
Alisson is happiest when surrounded by her favorite things: dancing to the music in Frozen, giggling at Ms. Rachel, reading books about babies, and playing the “Gitcha Game” with her loving family. Most of all, she adores animals — especially her
beloved “Meow Meows.”
Alisson is a determined little girl who believes she can do anything — and she inspires everyone around her to believe it, too.
Alisson’s mom reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for help in getting her a properly fitted manual wheelchair. This new chair will provide the comfort and support she needs to safely explore the world around her and continue sharing her infectious smile and energy with everyone she meets. Thanks to the generosity of The League Club, Alisson has received the wheelchair she needed.
