Meet Amarion!
Meet 4-year-old Amarion, better known by his friends and family as Maury. He was born with a rare chromosome deletion and was told he wouldn’t survive past a few months old. He has a seizure disorder and had to have a Trach inserted. He is also tube dependent for food and non-verbal. While Amarion has strong lower extremities, he has a weak core and hypotonia in his trunk. He is unable to walk without support.
Amarion remains a sweet and strong little boy, despite the challenges life has handed to him. He is a fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and enjoys taking walks and bike rides in his neighborhood. He spends time with his three dogs and enjoys the affection of his family. Most importantly, Amarion never gives up. He is a fighter who has shown just how precious life can be!
