Meet 4-year-old Amelia. She was diagnosed with Hypotonia and Blount’s Disease. She has severe muscle weakness. Amelia has many challenges but remains the sunshine that brightens a cloudy day.
Amelia has many interests. She is a huge fan of Pentatonix and likes to sing the cleanup song with Mom. She likes looking at touch-and-feel books or books with bright colors. Amelia is very active and likes playing at a nearby park. Most of all, she loves playing with her sister. They can be found doing gymnastics or playing soccer in the front yard. Amelia is known to be feisty and loving, too. Amelia inspires everyone and makes our world a better place.
Thanks to the generosity of The Burton Family Foundation Amelia has received the adaptive tricycle she needed. She can also have a wonderful time riding the trike outdoors with her sister while improving her leg strength and balance!
