Meet Angelina!
Meet 14-year-old Angelina! When her mom was pregnant, she suffered from extremely high blood pressure and required heart surgery. Mom was told there would be a chance her baby wouldn’t make it or would be born with consequences. Luckily, Angelina was born healthy but wasn’t meeting typical milestones and was considered a floppy baby. She was then diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. She is wheelchair bound and is 100% dependent on others to help her get from one place to the next.
Despite Angelina’s challenges, she remains upbeat and loveable. She is a social girl, and although she is mostly non-verbal, she smiles and tries to shake hands with everyone she encounters. Angelina is a fan of the popular Netflix movie, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and loves to sing and dance along to all the catchy songs! She also enjoys frequenting local fairs, festivals, and theme parks! Angelina adores being outdoors, especially in the garden helping her mom water the plants! This young lady is hard-working and determined to accomplish the things she sets her mind to!
Angelina needs a lightweight medical stroller. She has outgrown her current chair and she currently utilizes a heavy power chair, which is not ideal for transport and travel. A lighter chair will make outings easier and safer for her family. Please consider a sponsorship for Angelina today!
