Meet 12-year-old Antony. Antony was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at just 18 months old. He experiences weakness in both his arms and legs, which affects his balance and endurance. While he faces many physical challenges each day, Antony continues to meet life with a smile and an active, determined spirit.

Antony has a wide range of interests that reflect his joyful personality. He’s a huge baseball fan, not only cheering from the sidelines, but proudly playing in the Miracle League. When he’s relaxing at home, you’ll often find him watching Blippi or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, or snuggled up with Mom reading his favorite Pete the Cat books. He also loves music and can’t help but light up when Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” comes on.

Though quiet by nature, Antony’s motivation, happiness, and gentle spirit inspire everyone around him. He truly makes the world brighter just by being himself.

Antony would greatly benefit from a therapy tricycle. Thanks to the Herbert Bearman Foundation and the Jim Moran Foundation Antony has received this specialized trike that will help strengthen his muscles, improve coordination and endurance, and provide him with a fun and meaningful way to stay active. Most importantly, it will give him more opportunities to play, explore, and enjoy special moments with his family.
