Meet 10-year-old Ashley! Ashley is a brave and unique girl that has a condition called Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). NMOSD is a rare, severe autoimmune condition that causes inflammation to the central nervous system, mainly the optic nerves and spinal cord.
Ashley loves the My Little Pony series, Ariel and K-pop Demon Hunters. She enjoys watching swimming and her favorite athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo. She has a lovely stuffed animal collection and likes to go on trips to Disney World and Aquatica. During story time she loves when mom reads her princess books.
