Meet 9-year-old Athina, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth. She experiences muscle weakness in her arms and legs and relies on her family for her daily needs. Despite these challenges, Athina remains a joyful and resilient little girl.
She finds happiness in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with her loved ones and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. Her strong spirit and kind heart inspire everyone around her, making the world a brighter place.
Athina needed an Adaptive Therapy Tricycle to continue her physical therapy at home in a fun way. This special tricycle also gives her the chance to join family bike rides and enjoy time with her peers. Thanks to the generosity of The Broadrick Family Foundation and the Mabel & Ellsworth Simons Charitable Foundation, Athina has received her very own Adaptive Therapy Tricycle—now she can simply be a kid and ride like the wind!
