Meet 2-year-old Audrey — a joyful little girl with a smile that can brighten even the darkest day. Audrey was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and hypotonia, which causes weakness in her arms and legs and affects her balance and ability to walk.
Despite her challenges, Audrey’s days are filled with laughter and love. She’s a big fan of all things purple, loves watching Ms. Rachel, and enjoys snuggling up with Mom or Dad to read her favorite books. Audrey also shares a special bond with her dad, watching baseball, football, and NASCAR together and cheering for his favorite teams. Most of all, she adores playing with her baby dolls.
Audrey was in need of a Gait Trainer to help her strengthen her muscles and improve her balance so she can continue making progress toward walking on her own. Thanks to Baycare Health Systems Audrey will be able to do just that.
