Meet August, a determined 12-year-old living with Bain Bridge Ropers Syndrome.
Diagnosed at age 3, August has weakness in his arms and legs, which affects his balance and endurance. Despite these challenges, he remains happy, active, and full of life.
August has many interests—he’s a huge fan of dinosaurs, loves watching The Land Before Time movies, en
joys audiobooks, and adores his dog, Lucy. Known for his loving and determined nature, August enjoys family adventures and inspires everyone around him.
August’s mom reached out to Wheelchairs 4 Kids for help obtaining a much-needed wheelchair lift for their vehicle. This lift will allow August to safely and easily transport his power wheelchair to school, medical appointments, and home, giving him greater independence, freedom, and the ability to fully participate in everyday life.
