Meet Brendon! He is the most loving 7-year-old boy you’ll ever meet. Born at just 24 weeks, Brendon has beaten the odds from the very beginning. He suffered brain damage at birth, which affects his right arm and leg, and as a result, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Brendon has been in physical therapy since infancy and has made remarkable progress along the way. Despite his limitations, he absolutely loves practicing on the therapy bike during PT and wishes more than anything to have one of his own.
Even while faced with many challenges, Brendon is still an active, inquisitive little boy that loves playing and being a kid. He has many interests including trains (Thomas being his favorite), playing with blocks, and learning about science! If he could spend all his time playing with or watching Thomas the Train he would! Alongside his love for playing and learning, Brendon might just be at his happiest while cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Brendon is in need of a therapy bike – this would help him build up his balance, stamina, and independence while giving him a safe, fun way to play and exercise. He loves riding the older bike in physical therapy, but it’s too small. With your support, Brendon can have his very own therapy bike – opening the door to more freedom, confidence, and fun.
