Meet 9-year-old Camila, who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy when she was born. Despite the many challenges she faces, she remains an adorable, happy, and active little girl.
Camila has an array of interests. She has a great sense of humor and loves watching comedians. She is a big fan of stand-up comedy. She is a bright girl who excels in Math class. Camila enjoys watching soccer with her family and cheering on their favorite team. When she’s not at school, she can be found outside, going to the park to play on the swings. Camila inspires everyone she meets and makes our world a better place.
Because of her Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, Camila is fully dependent on others for her care and mobility. A bath chair with a transfer system is needed to provide safe, secure, and comfortable bathing while allowing caregivers to transfer her more easily and safely. This equipment will help reduce the physical strain on her family, improve safety during bathing and transfers, and make daily care more manageable for both her and her caregivers.
Camila has received a new bath chair and transfer system that will make bath time safer and more comfortable for her, while also making transfers much easier for her mom.
