Meet 5-year-old Carson. He was diagnosed with Sturge-Weber Syndrome, Intractable Epilepsy, Left Functional Hemispherectomy, and Right Hemiplegia when he was 1 month old. He is dependent on his family for his everyday needs. Carson faces many challenges with resilience. He is a little boy who brings a joyful spirit wherever he goes.
Carson has many interests. His favorite color “today” is red. He loves watching hockey and football with mom and dad, cheering on their favorite teams: the Lightning, the Chicago Bears, and the Gators. He likes a nice slice of pizza and a good cookie. Most of all, he likes going for a ride in the golf cart.
To help Carson continue making progress at home, he needs an Adaptive Therapy Tricycle. Riding the tricycle will help improve his balance, coordination, muscle strength, and endurance. An adaptive tricycle is so much more than a bike for Carson. It’s another step toward greater independence, confidence, and the chance to simply enjoy being a kid.
Please consider sponsoring Carson and give him the opportunity to keep moving forward.
