Meet Cassian!

 

 

Meet Cassian, a bright and energetic 5-year-old with a smile that lights up the room and a laugh that’s completely contagious. Though his cognitive level is closer to 1 to 1½ years old, Cassian is full of personality — silly, sensitive, and always on the move. He loves swinging, spinning, and anything that goes fast. While he cannot speak, stand, or walk on his own, he makes his presence known with joy and spirit.

Cassian lives with multiple complex diagnoses including Kabuki Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and more. He is also G-tube dependent and legally blind. Despite it all, he’s a bundle of energy who adores Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Cocomelon’s “Wheels on the Bus,” and his favorite book, Don’t Tickle the Bear. He’s deeply empathetic — if his little sister is upset, he’ll cry too.
