Meet 12-year-old Cayden! She loves any and everything about Stitch from the hit movie Lilo and Stitch. Cayden was born with Lobar Holoprosencephaly, a brain condition in which the two halves of a baby’s brain do not fully separate, as they normally would, while they develop in the womb. This has affected Cayden’s ability to walk and relays on a wheelchair for mobility.
Cayden loves listening to country music and her favorite artist Taylor Swift. Arts and craft is her favorite activity and likes watching Volleyball. Although Cayden is non-verbal, she manages to put a smile on people’s faces and her mom describes her has a happy and passionate person.
Cayden’s mom reached out to W4K because Cayden has outgrown her current wheelchair and it is now causing pain in her hips, knee and foot alignment. To have proper support, she will need a wheelchair that can tilt and have proper foot rests. Please be her sponsor!
