Meet Charles!
Meet 6-year-old Charles. His mom found out in utero that he would be born with a genetic disorder due to having an extra chromosome. While he is able to walk, he does have some developmental delays that affect his motor skills.
Charles is an energetic and observant little boy who enjoys many fun things. His favorite activity is swimming, and he loves to lounge in the pool or at a waterpark! He enjoys watching basketball and football. In fact, his dad gave him the nickname “Earl Campbell,” after the famous NFL running back. Charles is also a big Muhammad Ali fan and his favorite movie is the original about the famed boxer. Charles is a very confident young man despite his challenges and he makes it easy to be a fighter, just like his boxing hero!
