Meet Christopher!
Meet 15-year-old Christopher! Christopher was diagnosed as a baby with cerebral palsy. He was born pre-maturely and spent 100 days in the NICU. While he is able to crawl, he cannot stand or walk on his own and is dependent on others for most daily living activities.
Christopher is a joyous and loving young man. He loves to watch the classic Disney Channel show, Phineas and Ferb, and enjoys the Finding Nemo and Finding Dory movies. It’s no surprise his favorite place to visit is the aquarium, where he likes watching the stingrays gracefully flap around. Christopher actively plays on an adaptive T-ball league. He also enjoys listening to his favorite singers, Taylor Swift and Travis Scott. Christopher’s smile is infectious and his personality can light up any room!
Christopher received a Convaid medical stroller. He has outgrown his current chair and needed something lightweight and easy to transfer so he can use it at school and throughout the community. Special thanks to Footsteps NY and Sorenson for being his generous sponsors!
