Meet Danny!
Meet 3-year-old Danny! Mom found out when she was pregnant that he would be born with spina bifida. Luckily, he didn’t require any major surgeries, however he is unable to walk without the assistance of others and uses a stander and a wheelchair. He finds other ways to stay active that don’t require walking or standing.
Danny is an intelligent and comical little boy. He loves making others laugh and smile! He is a huge Spiderman fan and enjoys watching the Spidey and his Amazing Friends TV show and collecting Spiderman figurines and toys. Swimming, playing with his cousins, and enjoying time outdoors are among some of his favorite activities. This adorable boy will easily warm your heart!
Danny received an Amtryke hand trike. This trike will help boost his independence while enjoying a fun and exciting activity. It will also provide him with muscle strengthening. Special thanks to the Haughey family for their generous donation!
