Meet 2-year-old Darcy, a beautiful little girl with the sweetest smile and a light that touches everyone around her. She has been diagnosed with Dandy-Walker Malformation, OFD Type I, and Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum. Darcy experiences seizures and lives with a combination of stiff muscles and low muscle tone, making even simple movements very difficult. She depends on her loving family for all of her daily needs, but through it all, Darcy remains a joyful, peaceful, and deeply loved little girl.
Darcy’s spirit is truly special. She lights up while watching Bluey and Moana, and she loves the comfort of story time, turning pages as Mom or Dad reads beside her. She enjoys cozy days at home, cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning with her family, and spending time with her two dogs and her cat, whom she absolutely adores. Though she is quiet and often content in her own little world, Darcy’s gentle presence, soft laughter, and sweet nature bring so much love and warmth to those around her.
