Meet 4-year-old Delanie! Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at a very young age, Delanie faces many challenges, including weakness in her arms and legs that affects her balance and endurance. But her infectious smile and strength of character make even the darkest days brighter.
Delanie loves watching Elmo and Super Simple Songs videos, and she especially enjoys story time with Mom and Dad. Her favorite books are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? She also enjoys cheering on her favorite teams, the NY Lightning, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and her brother’s soccer team, and spending time at the park on the swings. Known for her gentle and peaceful nature, Delanie loves family walks and time outdoors. She truly inspires everyone around her and makes our world a better place.
Delanie now needs an adaptive therapy tricycle to help her improve balance, stamina, and independence, while giving her a safe way to join family bike rides. This special trike will support both her physical development and her social inclusion.
