Meet Dillan. Dillan is a bright and kind 17-year-old who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at a very young age. He is fully reliant on his wheelchair and his loving family for his daily needs. Though he faces many challenges, Dillan has a smile that melts the hearts of everyone he meets.
He has several interests that bring him joy. Dillan loves cartoons—especially Curious George and Mickey Mouse. He enjoys listening to Christian worship music with his mom, which never fails to make him smile. Most of all, Dillan loves trips to the beach with his family. Though quiet and often content in his own world, he is deeply loved and inspires everyone around him, making our world a brighter place.
Right now, Dillan needs a bathchair. His current bathroom is too narrow for safe access. Caregivers must lift him in and out of a traditional bathtub, a difficult process that often causes water to spill onto the floor, creating a slippery and hazardous environment.
