Meet Elliott!

Meet Elliott! This amazingly brave 7-year-old has multiple diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, a seizure disorder, and Dandy Walker syndrome, which is a congenital brain defect leading to hydrocephalus. His motor skills are limited, as he lacks coordination, but he is able to walk with assistance. He utilizes a wheelchair for distance.

Elliott is described as gregarious and resilient- never giving up even when things get tough, much like his favorite superheroes, Iron Man and Spiderman. Elliott is also a fan of the cartoon hit show, Paw Patrol. He enjoys being outdoors, especially playing frisbee with his family. Family time means so much to Elliott and he enjoys spending his days with his brother and sister.

Elliott received a Rifton therapy bike. This bike will help improve his muscle strength and coordination, while also providing him with a great activity to enjoy with his siblings. A therapy trike can motivate Elliott to keep active and energized. Special thanks to the Gerner Foundation for being his wonderful sponsor! Elliott will enjoy his bike for many years to come!
