Meet 6-year-old Elmer. Elmer is diagnosed with Lesch Nyhan Syndrome. Elmer cannot walk and is non-verbal. The condition also causes him severe developmental delays and muscle spasms.
Elmer’s favorite color is blue and he likes horses. He enjoys when his mom reads with him which includes the Happy Day Farms book series. He attends school and his favorite subjects include both math and reading. He enjoys outings to the community care center and playing with his toy truck collection.
