Meet Gracelynn!
Meet 4-year-old Gracelynn! Gracelynn is a loving and resilient girl who continues to thrive despite her circumstances. She has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and a very rare genetic disorder called HNRNPH2.
Gracelynn’s favorite activity is watching Lucas the Spider on Television. She also likes to rock out to country music. Gracelynn recently went to Michigan’s Adventure park and took a ride the train with her mom – she had an amazing time!
Gracelynn relies on a wheelchair to move independently. She can sit up on her own, but will many times fall sideways or forward. One of the biggest challenges she and her family face is their home is not handicap accessible. When Gracelynn needs to move from one room to another in her wheelchair, it is difficult to get around due to the size of the wheelchair. A customized activity chair would resolve this.
