Meet Hadid!
Meet 17-year-old Hadid! Hadid was born several weeks prematurely and was diagnosed as a newborn with cerebral palsy. He is non-ambulatory and requires 100% assistance and the use of a manual wheelchair.
Despite the challenges that Hadid has faced, he remains joyful and understanding. He is full of life and loves to watch teen pop-star sitcoms such as Hannah Montana and Victorious. He is a big Miley Cyrus fan! Hadid enjoys spending time with his brothers, swimming, coloring, and drawing- especially colorful butterflies! Hadid’s mom describes him as having the biggest heart. He is always smiling, very loving and if you ask him, he will tell you that “life is beautiful!”
Hadid requires a lightweight manual wheelchair, so transport is easier on his family. As he continues to grow, a large chair makes it difficult to take him out into the community.
