Meet 11-year-old Jakary! Born prematurely at just 25 weeks and weighing only 1 lb. 11 oz., Jakary was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at age 3. He is fully dependent on his family for his daily care, but that doesn’t stop this silly, determined little boy from enjoying life to the fullest.

Jakary has so many interests! He loves watching Marvel movies, Monster Trucks, and Power Rangers. He is a bright boy who enjoys reading, and he especially loves being outdoors—whether he’s playing T-Ball or riding the waves at his local water park. But perhaps what he loves most of all is dancing!

Right now, Jakary needs an adaptive therapy tricycle. This special equipment would give him opportunities to build strength, increase independence, and enjoy the freedom of riding alongside his family and friends.

Jakary recently received his new Rifton adaptive tricycle, and he had an absolute blast riding alongside his siblings for the very first time!

Thanks to BayCare, Jakary now has the opportunity to be active, included, and make special memories with his family—memories that will last a lifetime. We are so grateful for your kindness and support in helping Jakary experience the joy of riding with his siblings!
