Meet Jalia!

Meet Gentle Jalia! Jalia was diagnosed with a form of juvenile arthritis, known as JIA, when she was about seven years old. She is unable to walk long distances and experiences severe muscle pains after a few minutes of being mobile. She requires the use of walker and recently started using a power wheelchair. Unfortunately, her mobility is declining.
Jalia is a pleasant young lady and is friendly to everyone she meets. Her interests include listening to K-Pop music and watching The Super Mario Brothers movie and Avatar TV show. Jalia prefers to stay indoors but loves going on road trips and staying in different hotels. She enjoys drawing, collecting Mini-Brand toys and Littlest Pet Shop animals, and playing on her tablet.
Due to Jalia’s declining mobility, she will soon need a ramp to get inside of her home. Her home has three steps, which she can no longer safely climb, and is too heavy for mom to carry. A ramp would provide her with a safe entryway to get in and out of her house. Please consider sponsoring Jalia’s ramp to help her access her home!
