Meet Jayce!
Meet 9- year-old Jayce! Jayce was recently diagnosed with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle disorder that weakens his joints. While he is currently able to still walk, he does have to use a scooter for long distances, as he fatigues easily.
Despite Jayce’s challenges, he remains an awesome kid! Jayce is thoughtful and caring- always thinking of others before himself. He is also passionate about life! He is a fan of football, and the LA Rams are his favorite team. You can often find him watching Adam Sandler comedies and laughing along or listening to reggae and hip-hop music. He credits Bob Marley as his inspiration! For fun, Jayce enjoys pickleball and tennis and playing video games on his PS5. Jayce chooses not to focus on his diagnosis, but rather live each day to its fullest potential!
