Meet Jennifer!
Meet 12-year-old Jennifer! After frequently getting seizures as a baby, Jennifer was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was only three months old. Her diagnosis ultimately led to the discovery that she also had cerebral palsy. She is non-verbal and fully dependent on others for support, as she can’t walk or sit up unassisted.
Jennifer is quiet and calm, but when she watches her favorite cartoons, you will find her laughing and smiling for hours! She prefers soothing, relaxing lullabies as her music of choice. Being outdoors or trips to the mall is when she is happiest. She loves going on walks and getting fresh air. Although Jennifer can’t talk, her beautiful smile lets you know she is at ease and all is right in Jenn’s world!
Jennifer is in need of a lightweight tilt-in-space wheelchair. This chair will provide her with the support and comfort she requires while also being easy to transport. Her current wheelchair is bulky and heavy and something lighter will allow her to attend more outings and appointments. Please consider being her sponsor!
