Meet Kai!

Meet 5-year-old Kai! This resilient young boy has a seizure disorder known as Lennox-Gastaut. He started seizing when he was only three months old and would have as many as thirty seizures per day! He is non-verbal and cannot walk without assistance.
Despite his challenges, Kai remains an affectionate and intelligent boy. He is a fan of country music, especially Morgan Wallen. He loves watching Disney movies, especially Moana and Lilo and Stitch, which share a common element- the sea! Kai loves water- whether he’s swimming, taking a bath, or visiting his favorite water park, Volcano Bay. When it comes to playtime, Kai has a collection of Spiderman action figures. Perhaps the best quality about Kai, is his loveable personality. Although he can’t talk, the way he looks at you with his kind eyes says everything you need to know!
Kai recently received his wheelchair, but his home is not equipped with a ramp. Having a ramp installed will help his family greatly, so they would not have to carry him in and out of the house. Thanks to the help of Harmar and the Knights of Columbus Council 12165, Kai has a brand-new ramp. His mom said this will make everyone’s life easier and she couldn’t be more thankful to his amazing sponsors for giving them this wonderful opportunity.
