Meet 6-year-old Kassidee. When she was just 3 years old, she suffered a traumatic brain injury that changed her life in ways no child should ever have to experience. The injury left her unable to walk or talk, and her family suddenly faced an entirely new journey.
Since then, Kassidee has worked incredibly hard in physical therapy. Step by step, she has made amazing progress. While she still faces challenges every day, she continues to amaze everyone around her with her determination, resilience, and sweet spirit.
Kassidee loves all things pink! She enjoys watching Bluey, CoComelon, and Disney movies, and she is always excited to show people that she knows her alphabet and colors. Her happiest moments are spent with her family, especially when they can enjoy a day at the beach together.
To help Kassidee continue making progress at home, she needs an Adaptive Therapy Tricycle. Riding the tricycle will help improve her balance, coordination, muscle strength, and endurance. An adaptive tricycle is so much more than a bike for Kassidee. It’s another step toward greater independence, confidence, and the chance to simply enjoy being a kid.
