Meet Kemuel!
Meet Courageous Kemuel! This remarkable young man is paralyzed from his waist up. When he was only a toddler, he went in for a spinal lab and contracted an infection. He was given antibiotics, but his immune system was weak and rejected them. This led to his diagnosis of central cord syndrome of cervical spinal cord. Kemuel can still walk, but has no feeling in his upper body, therefore, he must do everything with his feet, including playing video games, feeding himself, and finding creative ways to do daily living activities.
Despite the daily challenges Kemuel faces, he remains strong and never gives up! Kemuel has several fun interests, including watching the Marvel movies- especially Spiderman- and the TV series One Piece! He also likes to listen to Christian reggaeton and rap music. Kemuel has his own ant colony that he takes precious care of. He enjoys nature, trips to Satellite Beach and collecting shark teeth and various rocks and minerals!
