Meet 20-year-old Kimberly! Kimberly is a sweet girl who was diagnosed with Microcephaly at birth. Microcephaly is a condition where an infant’s head is significantly smaller than expected for their age or sex. As a result, Kimberly cannot walk or stand on her own and requires assistance.
Kimberly’s favorite thing to do is play outside! She especially loves to ride on her adaptive tricycle. She also enjoys blowing bubbles and likes to dance to the music from Zootopia 2. Kimberly enjoys bedtime stories read by mom and eats soup or mashed potatoes for dinner.
Kimberly requires a new stander since the parts broken. Standers are mobility devices that allow those who cannot stand on their own to stand up on their own. A new stander will help regulate Kimberly’s blood pressure and reduce bone fractures. It will also reduce pressure on her knees. Please consider sponsoring Kimberly today!
