Meet Leliana!
Meet Lovely Leliana! This resilient little girl suffered from a traumatic brain injury when she was a toddler. She had brain bleeding and had to be life flighted to a hospital where she spent a month in ICU. Due to her brain damage, she is unable to walk without assistance. She currently uses a manual wheelchair and wears AFOs.
Leliana is described as a bubby and happy girl. She likes simple outings in her wagon, whether she is enjoying hiking trails or trips to her local park, where being on the swings or going down the slides delight her. She also enjoys water and loves swimming! Although she mostly listens to simple children’s music, she enjoys the fun beats of the Black Eyed Peas. Leliana may not be able to speak much, but she is always smiling and lets others know how much she loves them!
Leliana needs a therapy bike. This bike will help strengthen her leg muscles and help progress her gross motor skills. She will also be able to engage in a fun activity with her family. Please consider being her sponsor!
