Meet Leona!
Meet 3-year-old Leona! Leona’s right leg is shorter than her left leg and she is also missing a toe and her fibula bone. She recently had two surgeries to help lengthen her tibia. Her gait pattern is affected due to weight shifting abilities on each leg and foot. She requires extra support and can only walk short distances without tiring. She uses a manual wheelchair for longer distances.
Leona is a kind and happy-go-lucky little girl. She enjoys being outdoors with her friends, especially if she is at the park swinging on the swings. Leona is a fan of the popular Netflix movie, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and the multi-platinum mega hit from the film, “Golden” is her favorite song. She has a large collection of Barbies and enjoys using her imagination when playing with her dolls. Leona is beautiful inside and out, and continues to thrive despite her mobility issues.
