Meet 2-year-old Lian. He was diagnosed with Spina Bifida and had his first surgery in utero. He has weakness in his legs, which affects his balance and endurance. Lian has many challenges, but he remains happy and active.

Lian has several interests. He is a huge fan of music; he particularly loves the Macarena, and he knows all the moves. He loves being read to; he likes books about dinosaurs and trucks.  Most of all, he loves going to the park to play on the slide. Lian is a shining light, the answer to a sister’s prayer. Lian inspires everyone he meets and makes our world a better place.

Lian needed an adaptive therapy tricycle—a special bike designed to help strengthen his legs, improve coordination, and give him a fun, healthy way to stay active and engaged with the world around him.

Thanks to a very special sponsor, Lian has now received his adaptive therapy tricycle. He can continue his physical therapy at home while enjoying bike rides and making special memories with his family.
