Meet Lucas!
Meet Loveable Lucas! This nine-year-old boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was only an infant. His doctors noticed he wasn’t meeting typical milestones and at his six-month checkup it was determined that he had a brain injury. While Lucas can walk short distances on his own, he requires constant supervision due to his lack of coordination.
Lucas is a joyful boy who will always greet you with a hug! He is a fan of children’s shows such as Ms. Rachel and Baby Shark. He also enjoys watching the Super Mario Bros movie. Although Lucas is mostly non-verbal, he likes to watch soccer games with his family and shout, “GOAL!” Lucas’ favorite activity is swimming. He loves to be in the water and spend time at the beach. Lucas is also described as an observer, watching the world around him and often trying to imitate what others are doing.
Lucas needs a new therapy bike. He has outgrown his current bike and due to his physical limitations, he is unable to ride a traditional bike. This bike will help improve his muscle strength and coordination. Please consider being Lucas’ sponsor
