Meet 12-year-old Luke. He was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, POTS, and Hypotonia. He has weakness and atrophy in his muscles, which cause issues with his endurance and balance. Luke has many challenges, but he remains happy and active.
Luke has many interests. He is a huge fan of all Anime. He likes watching Pokémon, Minecraft, and SpongeBob. He is a bright guy who excels in science class. Luke enjoys a good Hockey game, cheering on his favorite team, the Lightning. Most of all, he adores his buddy dog, Yeti. Luke is known to be an imaginative and kind guy who enjoys spending his time building creations with his LEGOs. Even though he is quiet and prefers to remain in his own world, he inspires everyone and makes our world a better place.
Luke shows remarkable strength and resilience every single day. A manual wheelchair would make it easier for him to get around, helping him continue to enjoy outings, explore the world, and create special memories with his family.
