Meet Magnus!
Meet Magnificent Magnus! This 13-year-old boy was born prematurely and had a brain bleed at birth causing him to spend several months in the NICU. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was still an infant. Magnus wears leg braces and can walk short distances, but he mostly relies on the use of a wheelchair to get from place to place.
Despite life’s challenges, Magnus remains a resilient and happy young man. He loves everything Disney, especially Mickey Mouse and Grogu- also affectionally known as Baby Yoda! He enjoys listening to Disney music and frequenting the Disney theme parks. Magic Kingdom is his favorite because he loves to meet the characters and ride It’s a Small World! Magnus is also a fan of air shows and seeing the airplanes and helicopters up close. Magnus’ greatest trait is that he is a warrior- he never gives up and continues to live life to the fullest!
Magnus needs a lightweight power wheelchair to allow greater independence and enhance his overall quality of life. A lightweight chair will also be easily accessible for doctor’s appointments and events in his community and will reduce caregiver physical strain during long outings.
