Meet Mark Anthony

Meet ten-year-old Mark-Anthony. Mark-Anthony was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. He is unable to move on his own. Mark-Anthony is nonverbal, but communicates through a series of nonverbal cues such as body language, noises, or his iPad. In spite of his struggles, he maintains an infectious smile and unerring sense of spirit.

Mark-Anthony is a loving child that takes note of those around him. If he sees his mom is sad, he demands hugs and cuddles, filling her with the love he so naturally possesses. His second love is his Aunty Sue Sue. His mother swears he would eat dirt if it was served up by his beloved Aunty. His favorite place to hang out is on the beach. He also enjoys going to all of his local parks with Mom and using the slides and the swings. Having the sun on his face and blue skies ahead seems to leave him peaceful and happy.

Mark-Anthony requires a medical car seat to travel safely. He is currently using a store-bought car seat intended for toddlers. It lacks the support needed to keep him from toppling over at every stop and turn. Please be his sponsor!
