Meet Michael! He is the happiest 8-year-old boy you’ll ever meet. Michael suffered a stroke in utero, which has presented him with many challenges to overcome. As a result, he lives with epilepsy, cognitive delays, and has developed cerebral palsy. Michael also has left-sided hemiparesis, which makes everyday tasks much more difficult. Although his struggles are part of his daily life, he never lets them fade his joy.
Michael has never let his diagnosis define him. He finds joy in the simple things in life, and his favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors with his family! He is incredibly active and loves jumping on his trampoline, playing on his backyard playground, and swimming in his pool. When he’s not conquering the outdoors, you’ll find him winding down with Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, and NFL PrimeTime – or jamming out to his favorite song, “Hooked on a Feeling”, as he is obsessed with the oldies!
Michael needs an adaptive therapy bike to help improve his balance, stamina, and independence, while also giving him a safe way to join his family on bike rides. This bike will support both his physical development and social inclusion, allowing him to experience the joy of riding alongside the people he loves. Please consider sponsoring Michael. Your support can provide him the bike he needs – bringing confidence, freedom, and countless happy moments. Be the reason he smiles and takes that exciting ride!
