Meet 9-year-old Mikaela! Mikaela was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. She has weakness in both her arms and legs, which affects her balance and endurance. Despite these challenges, Mikaela remains happy and active.

She has many interests that bring her joy. Mikaela loves the water and enjoys visiting her local park to play on the splash pad. She likes watching Blippie on YouTube and listening to Cocomelon Simple Songs. One of her favorite companions is her therapy dog, Summer, who never leaves her side. Most of all, Mikaela loves being outdoors. Whether she is sketching in the sunshine or chasing bubbles, her quiet spirit and determination inspire everyone around her.

Mikaela needed an Adaptive Therapy Tricycle—one specially designed to let her continue physical therapy at home in a fun and motivating way. This tricycle will help strengthen her muscles, improve her balance, and give her the independence and joy every child deserves. Thanks to the generosity of the wonderful people at the William Cissel Foundation, Mikaela now has that chance.
