Meet Miriam. Three-year-old Miriam is a bright light in the lives of everyone who knows her. Diagnosed with Infantile Spasms and Epilepsy at just 12 weeks old, she faces daily challenges with remarkable strength and grace. Miriam is fully dependent on her family for her daily care and is currently working hard to strengthen her arms and legs, as well as build her balance and endurance.
Despite these challenges, Miriam’s spirit shines. She loves watching Coco Melon, curling up to listen to her family read stories, and most of all, spending time outdoors, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Though she is quiet and often content in her own world, Miriam’s joyful presence inspires everyone around her and reminds us how beautiful life can be.
Thanks to the generosity of a very special sponsor Miriam received the Adaptive therapy tricycle — a special adaptive bicycle that will help her build muscle strength, improve coordination and balance, and give her a safe, fun way to explore the outdoors she loves so much. Miriam will now be able to experience the freedom and joy of riding her very own therapy bike.
