Meet Muhammad!
Meet 19-year-old Muhammad! Muhammad has a progressive form of muscular dystrophy known as Duchenne’s. He was diagnosed when he was only 3-years-old and by the time he was seven, he lost his ability to walk and has been in a wheelchair ever since. He has had two major surgeries- one on his back for scoliosis and one to help straighten his feet.
Despite the challenges Muhammad faces, he remains a confident and intelligent young man. He is currently studying computer programming at college. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Marvel superhero movies, European soccer, and visiting Universal Studios -where he frequents the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Muhammad also has a collection of LEGOs which he has built many amazing creations!
Muhammad received a new manual wheelchair thanks to Custom Mobility. His current chair no longer comfortably fits him. A new chair will supply him with the ease and accessibility he requires while also providing proper positioning.
