Meet Nesanel!

Meet 11-year-old Nesanel. Nesanel was born healthy, and then at 12 days old, he had a diaphragmic hernia leading him to go into cardiac arrest. As a result, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He is able to take a few steps on his own with the assistance of a gait trainer, but he mostly relies on his wheelchair for distances and for school.

Nesanel is a creative and determined young man. He enjoys sports, especially baseball and football, and he is a fan of Baltimore teams, the Orioles and the Ravens! Going to Camden Yards for baseball games is his favorite outing. He enjoys listening to Jewish pop music and his favorite band is the TYH Boys. Nesanel excels at school, and his favorite subject is English. Nesanel is a very driven person and never gives up, even when things seem difficult.

Nesanel is in need of a new manual wheelchair. He has outgrown his current chair and has a difficult time using it at school. It no longer provides him with the postural support needed. Please consider being Nesanel’s sponsor!
