Meet Oliver B!
Meet Outgoing Oliver! This sweet young man was diagnosed in utero with hydrocephalus. In addition, he also has a seizure disorder and agenesis of corpus collosum. He has undergone surgery for a VP shunt and a shunt revision. Oliver is unable to walk without assistance. He uses a gait trainer for short-distance support and a manual wheelchair for longer distances.
Despite Oliver’s challenges, he remains a joyful child. He loves to watch Disney movies and The Lion Guard is his favorite TV show. He enjoys listening to music by Forest Frank and his favorite song is “Better.” Oliver loves sea life and his favorite place to visit is the aquarium, especially the shark exhibit! Oliver also enjoys playing with drum sticks and maracas and making noise. Oliver is a strong kid who preservers, never giving up even when life gets tough!
Oliver needs a therapy bike. He is successfully learning to pedal on his own. This bike will help increase his muscle tone and provide him with a cardiovascular activity he can participate in with his family and friends. Please consider being his sponsor!
